Resident Engineering services for the construction of a new locomotive maintenance facility located near Jamaica Station in Queens. Design includes installation of two cranes to lift locomotives and locomotive engines and skylights on the roof of the shop, with a large bay to enable the removal and repair of locomotive axles. Construction included trackwork, rail welding, installation of switches, track roadbed, precast concrete panels, yard lighting conduits and foundations and column encasements.
